Let's see... Oh, We made history by electing this country's first black president! You went to see and hear him speak when you were in mommy's belly almost a year ago!
What else... You had your first thanksgiving with all of your family. Grandpa is coming to visit you in a few weeks for Christmas and Santa will be here soon to give you a special present.

Dear Phoebe, Grandma and Grandpa Bob are so sorry we weren't with you to celebrate your first Thanksgiving. But next year when you are older we will be there for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. That will be a memory and you will remember it. Love you grandma
